Easy 3-Ingredient Creamy Caesar Chicken

An easy, creamy Caesar Chicken recipe that cooks in your slow cooker and that you can prep ahead and freeze, making for a quick and easy dump-style meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

To make freezer meal:

  • Place chicken, dressing, and Parmesan cheese in gallon-sized freezer bag. Knead carefully to mix.
  • Make sure bag is fully sealed. Label and date.
  • Place flat in freezer to freeze.

To cook:

  • Remove bag from freezer and place in refrigerator overnight to thaw.
  • The next morning, place contents of bag into slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 4-6 hours or on High for 2-3 hours until chicken is fully cooked through.
  • Carefully remove chicken from slow cooker, place on a cutting board, and shred using two forks.
  • Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and mix into sauce.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

If you prefer,  you can turn this into a Baked Caesar Chicken.
Simply thaw your freezer meal and then pour the contents of the bag into a casserole dish or 9×13 baking dish, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes until the centers of the chicken are thoroughly cooked through (reach an internal temperature of 165F). Remove from oven, add additional grated cheese on top, and place back into the oven for 5-10 more minutes until the cheese has melted.
